Pele Reading is committed to making our website usable by people with disabilities, in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 1998, the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, and Israeli Standard IS 5568 (based on WCAG 2.1, Level AA).
1. Accessibility status
This website is in partial conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partial conformance" means some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working through a remediation plan and will update this statement as fixes ship.
2. Accessibility adjustments on this site
Semantic HTML headings and landmarks for screen-reader navigation.
A skip-to-content link for keyboard users.
Visible keyboard focus indicators on links, buttons, and form fields.
Support for both Hebrew (RTL) and English (LTR) layouts, including correctly mirrored icons and navigation.
Compatibility with the browser's own text-zoom and page-zoom (this site does not disable pinch-zoom or set a maximum zoom scale).
3. Known limitations
The Hebrew introductory video includes open (burned-in) captions. Decorative looping video elsewhere on the page has no spoken audio. Contact us if you need any content in an alternative format.
4. Feedback and contact
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this site, please tell us so we can fix it: email dev@pele-reading.com or use the contact form on this site. We aim to respond within 14 business days.
5. Formal complaints
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with Israel's Commission for Equal Rights of Persons with Disabilities (נציבות שוויון זכויות לאנשים עם מוגבלות).
